Run you fools! I see very few people running or exercising. In these slow economic times, we all need to improve our bodies. Fit men get more money, promotions, partners and are sharper. Sound mind in a sound body.
You do not need a gym membership to use your body in a effective way, or to exercise it. I am also of the opinion that gyms are detrimental, or just non-effective, for most men. Being high pressure and often full of drugs. Go natural! Stay Natural! So many men do this; just buy some cheap weight-lifting equipment and try some curls once in a while. This is not enough. Squats are far more useful in the long run and a better whole body exercise anyways…
But Cardio -Whatever your flavor- will pay the greatest dividends in the long run. Overall health is really what matters the most, and cardio-respiratory is the most beneficial if your only have time for one type of exercise. By all means diversify. But do something! I hear a lot of “I don’t have the time to run!” You really do- 5min warm up, 20min of Running and 5 min cool down. So are you really gonna tell yourself that you can’t make 30 minutes for running?
Why Run? Well… heart health (cardio respiratory endurance) is so much a part of our lives. Remember that poor heart health and E.D. go hand in hand. So is running worth your soilder at attention? Better skin that doesn’t sag? Quicker reflexes? G.I. health, thereby better breath? Cardio is big stuff Guys. So don’t bother telling yourself lies. Get out and Dedicate the time to your own Health.
I whole-heartily endorse running. Unless otherwise indicated by your health care provider or personal situation. So get out and do something. Run, bike, swim or just play. Get you partner and go out for a hike, low cost and intimate… Now is a great time of year to start- the leaves will change a great deal over the next few months. You get a workout, she gets quality time. Plus you’re getting stronger.
